INSTA-STIK MP adhesive is perfect for fixing plasterboard, insulation board and most common building materials, it comes in a handy 750ml can. Dow INSTA-STIK MP from Geocel is a multi-purpose polyurethane adhesive with a difference; an accurate, reliable and user-friendly alternative to dry wall adhesive which will adhere almost any kind of board to any common building substrate quickly, safely, and with minimum mess and disruption. It is also the perfect product for other applications such as coving and skirting boards.

Using an ordinary PU foam gun, INSTA-STIK MP will adhere extruded and expanded polystyrene, polyurethane, polyisocyanate, mineral wool or plaster insulation boards to concrete, masonry, plaster, wood, metal and various bitumous substrates. Because it cures to full strength with minimal expansion in just three to five minutes it is the quick and easy to use. Thanks to the excellent cure times there is no need to wait before plastering which can be carried out just one hour after application.

There is no preparation time, no need for mixing, additional tools and electricity, meaning little or no disruption to building occupants and no dust or falling debris. The simple application process allows operators to precisely regulate the amount of material being applied per square metre giving a more reliable fix and eliminating wastage. Each 750ml can is sufficient to cover approximately 13m2 surface area – approximately 5 (1.2m x 2.4m) plasterboards. Unlike bulky bags of mortar, the cans are low weight and easy and safe to handle and transport. INSTA-STIK MP performs in any temperature – unlike mortar which will crack in warm conditions or cure too slowly in the cold.

It offers significant performance benefits over mechanical fixing since it rules out cold bridging and the subsequent danger of water infiltration.
