One of DOWSIL™ high performing structural glazing silicone sealants was specified for the latest phase of a prominent Riverside Quarter residential development in Wandsworth, South West London.
DOWSIL™ 993 was selected to bond the project’s vents, doors and fascias, with The Sherwin-Williams Company providing extensive technical support to ensure that all the quality control measures were implemented.
Astellas Building
DOWSIL™ 791 and 895 silicone sealants have been specified to create an aesthetically pleasing new façade at the Astellas Building in County Kerry, Ireland.
Selected to weatherproof and secure the glass units in place, the sealants provided the ultimate solution with minimal fuss.
Counting House
As part of a decade-long renovation of Cork’s iconic medieval quarter, DOWSIL™ 791 weatherproofing silicone was selected to seal the Counting House’s external glass to its joints and create a stunning façade.
Working with 2020 Glazing , the Counting House is another example of how The Sherwin-Williams Company works with its customers to deliver exciting projects in the UK & Ireland. Excell sealants carried out all the application of DOWSIL™ 791 for this project.
Pairc Ui Chaomih
When Pairc Ui Chaomih, the home of Cork’s Gaelic Athletic Association, underwent a series of refurbishments, The Sherwin-Williams Company was approached by Excell Sealants to specify the ideal solutions for the job at hand.Â
Geocel’s 945 MS Polymer and DOWSIL™ 700 Firestop sealants were selected to carry out the refurbishments needed.
Cork Prison
In a recent $38 million development at Cork Prison, Geocel 945 was specified for use on the building structure.Â
Working with Excell Sealants, the MS Polymer provided the high strength sealant for Vertical expansion joints.
Cardiff Lane
At The Sorting Office, the latest flexible use commercial property in Dublin’s Silicone Docks district, a range of high-performance sealants were specified for the location’s atrium elevations and glazed partitioning.
DOWSIL™ Firestop 700 was crucial to the project’s completion, selected due to its ability to meet the required specifications and performance under rigorous testing. The Sherwin-Williams Company also provided the expertise and technical knowledge needed to ensure a successful installation.
V&A Dundee

Created using a unique structure of interlocking concrete walls jutting out over an historic dock-front, the V&A Dundee is one of Scotland’s most recognisable modern buildings.
With the extreme weather demands due to its close proximity to the Firth of Tay, DOWSIL™ 791 and 895 glazing sealants were both specified to play a key role in meeting crucial performance requirements during the construction of the museum’s unusual façade.
Willis Tower
Considered to be the forerunner for High Tech office design, the iconic Willis Building in Ipswich recently underwent a programme of refurbishments, including a series of glazing and old joint seal repairs.Â
With the project’s sealant contractor in need of a premium
