Setting the Standard with Julian Perryman

Over the last 12 months, we have been partnered with Britain’s favourite builder and TV personality, Julian Perryman on a number of our key campaigns, from the ecoSEAL Challenge to our Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity (Lighthouse Club) Partnership and the relaunch of our Mates range.

As part of that, we sent Julian to interview Lighthouse Club CEO Bill Hill to help introduce our partnership with the charity and the work we have been doing to raise awareness of the charity’s amazing services through our Trade Mate packaging.

Then came the launch of our Setting the Standard video series, a combination of product explainers, reviews and testing, specifically focused on the characteristics and benefits of each product in the Trade Mate range, as well as a number of our other key products.

So far, Julian has taken 16 of the 27 products in the Mates range for a spin, as well as THE WORKS PRO and the ecoSEAL system.

In our next batch of videos, Julian will be giving us an overview of the different sealant technologies available (silicones, acrylics, tripolymers), and highlighting the merits of the Trade Mate and Joiners Mate ranges as a whole. Finally, Julian will be interviewing our very own Technical Services Chemist, Chris Fletcher, from our Research and Development department about the thinking behind our product development and what might be to come for Geocel.

“It’s been great to work with a company that produces such high-quality products over the last 12 months,” commented Julian Perryman on the partnership.

“We filmed the most recent batch of videos at the Geocel manufacturing facility and I was very impressed with the set up they had there - very forward thinking in terms of their management style and a very proactive workforce. I was particularly impressed with their attitude towards mental health and I think it’s great that the company has teamed up with the Lighthouse Club to pursue that further - a very worthwhile charity that do great work.
